It will get the job done.
I bought this alarm clock for my 13 year old son who could literally sleep through a tornado. The only thing that reliably wakes him is me yelling that he's about to miss the bus. We have tried every combination of alarms to get him up and he just doesn't hear them, or turns them off in his sleep, etc etc. Pros: Loud, very loud. It will wake the entire house. The vibration feedback device rumbles enough to feel it in our hardwood floors. Small, lightweight Cons: The directions are not very clear and clearly translated to English. The time and alarm settings move forward 1 minute at a time. Can't change hour independently so if you miss it you have to run through all 23 hours and 59 minutes again. Buttons are very small and easy to fat finger. Overall, it gets the job done where others fail. The key is setting up the vibration unit and setting BOTH alarms. Seems that the combination of alarm and vibration feed back coupled with a secondary alarm after do the trick. Sonic Holy Crap Boom
I am a ridiculously heavy sleeper. I've over slept so many times and I've been through soooo many alarm clocks. This is the most incredible alarm clock I've ever owned. I put the bed shaker right in the middle of my mattress and the cord is long enough that I could put it right underneath me if I wanted. It shakes my entire bed. Also I have the alarm turned 3/4 of the way up and that is more than loud enough to wake me up. It's been great and it also has the 9V battery backupjust in case. Awesome clock.
I tend to sleep through the alarms on my cell phone. With this one I have zero chance of sleeping through it. The bed shaker works as you would think and the adjustable tone is good to make you comfortable. I also like that the way to turn off the alarm is a much smaller button than the other which requires you to focus to turn it off. Vibrator works well.
The bed shaker works very well. I am quite death and utilize this feature most commonly. Price point could be better!! The Loudest and Best Alarm Clock
This will be my 3rd alarm clock of this make. One was a gift a few years ago and one I kept. Had to buy another one since I moved and this alarm was never seen after my move. THIS ALARM CLOCK WILL WAKE ANYONE UP! I'm the hardest to wake but this alarm wakes me. The added vibration will certainly get you as well even if set on silent with just this on under your pillow. I found it best to place in my pillow case as the vibration pod will literally walk off the bed due to being just that strong. The lights flashing will wake you as well! You won't ever run late again with clock. Alarm has volume control as well. Beware apartment dwellers, my alarm woke up my neighbors in a brick home! !! This is thew very best alarm available in the world! If you'd looking for an alarm. That will definitely wake you up this is it. I have NEVER found an alarm that was capable of consistently waking me up ! Until now!.. this one does!.
