Be careful where you buy it
It's a rubber seal. But if you need it then you got to have it. It's a lot cheeper than replacing the basket or heaven forbid a sink. Found it difficult to get the right one for my sink but it has to be the right one else they won't work! Prices varied up to £11. I got a couple original products in Franke packaging from UK supplier for £4 each. Still a rip off but just be wary and don't be conned

An excellent replacement!
A simple and practical washer that keeps the replacement costs to a minimum (although a little expensive FOR a washer) but still recommend.
