Bergen (soon to be US Tools) Battery Tester B6602
After first use (only 10 seconds) smoke came billowing out. Found leads had melted inside and that actually they were made from ordinary household 3 core flex. Unfortunately, whoever assembled it left connections to switch loose and so there was only one 13amp path for over 680cca. I had a trusted multimeter across the battery during the test and at least the needle seemed only 0.2volts out. If they really wanted to use 3 core they might have got away with 3x4.0mm^2 caravan flex cross connected at the switch. Saddened to see Bergen putting out such a shoddy product.
