Love hate relationship
I love the cordeless feature. I love how nicely it presses the fabric. I really love the steam burst that will kill i wrinkle quick. I love how I can just leave it plugged in and turned on and it will shut off automatically. I do not love all the following, the weight is a bit heavy for me i have arthritis and it be a bit of a issue at times its kind of unwieldy. I do not like that whenever your not using it you must keep it always on the charging station because it does not have a battery in it that holds a charge so the longer you have it off the charging station the cooler it becomes so you have to not be a slow at your task. It will stay hot for about 5 min before that happens. I love hate that auto shut off feature because you have 15 min. Let's say you are cutting and sewing between ironing and its past 15 min, now you have to wait for it to get hot again. I try and make it a point to lift it off the charging station so it doesn't shut off. So its OK iron I'm good with it and let's face it for 25 bucks its a steal. So I feel the good outways tbe bad for price and features and functions. If your ok with the cons I reported then I suggest you buy this iron.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

hard to pick up with angle of cordless pad
It is huge, it is pretty heavy when empty , I can't imagine putting water in it. I don't use water in irons anyway. It does heat up quickly. But, the think I really don't like about it is that when putting it on and off the pad, the iron is angled back toward your hand. Makes it difficult and uncomfortable to pick up. It just doesn't feel natural to pick it up. This is the first time I've bought a cordless iron on the upright stand. The ones I bought before had the forward half laying down pad. Good for a cordless option
The only downfall is that is loses heat too quickly when in cordless mode and that causes it to leak a little. Otherwise it is awesome! I researched comments on all the top cordless irons and each had this same complaint. This Sunbeam is super affordable which gives it an upper hand, in my book!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Only way to Iron
If you've ever used a corded iron then you know what it's like to get tangled up with the cord ! With it's constant getting in the way.i have had a cordless before ...used it til it couldn't go no more lol. Thankfully I found this Sunbeam iron.
