Lived up to expectations
It'd been more than a year since I purchased my Nuwave oven and based on my satisfaction with that unit I decided to try the Brio air fryer . This is the first and only air fryer I've ever used . I'm impressed with the ease-of-use as well as the variety of temperatures that are available and timing options . I would recommend using a small amount of oil for most of the foods cooked in the Brio . Another option is to spritz the food periodically with an aerosol cooking spray . I found that chicken wings tasted especially good when they were prepared in the Brio . It didn't seem to matter whether I cook some frozen or took time to thaw them out first . Obviously you'll have to allow more time when the wings are frozen . I would recommend this item .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great alternatitive to frying

functions well
The air fryer is a good idea for greaseless cooking which reduces calories. However the timer was a bit confusing at first. It looks like a min. sec. clock but actually it is a min. clock till the last min. that is displayed in seconds. The cook book could use more recipes especially basic ones. Works very good but depends if you're looking for a brown crust or not. It won't produce that.
Have only used air fryer twice. It did well with frozen french fries. It did a good job on cooking frozen fish filets, but did not brown the filets as well as I expected.
