High temperature silicone
Have used this for a few years now. Especially good for where an outboard motor engine joins the leg, as it has exhaust blowing through it and it gets quite hot. It also has the advantage, like all silicone sealants, of being easy to dismantle the joints at a later date. Can be used in place of ordinary silicone jointing compound if none other available. good product that doesn't go off in tube once opened
a very good sealer that works very well, I've also used the grey and clear versions of this silicone. unlike other makes I've used in the past once opened it won't set in the tube and has a indefinite shelf life as stated by the manufacturer will last for years. its important to follow the instructions and use it for correct applications and only use a small amount to create a successful long lasing repair.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Vtech Cpper rtv gasket sealant
Read a few forum suggestions and had a few reservations but this stuff really works! Used to get oil drip splatter all over my lovely chrome kickstart on my lambretta but very happy to say no more after using this stuff. You do need to wait 24 hours for it to fully cure and do the work but it’s well worth the wait. No more rag carrying for me every time I ride and reassuring to know the oil isn’t spitting anywhere near my back tyre!
