Works Better for Migraine Pain than Acetaminophen
I bought these for my wife's migraine headaches. Ibuprofen works better than the 650mg Acetaminophen suppositories sold for adults in the US. These tend to burn more than Acetaminophen does, but they also worked better. I am surprised that they sell these for children on the continent and not in adult doses. My wife had to take four, due to the lowered dosage in order to get any relief. But she is unable to keep oral meds down during her worst migraine headaches. We have tried: CBD, Aspirin, and Acetaminophen suppositories and these worked the best. Our Dr here in the US won't prescribe migraine suppositories, even though they work faster and better than pills. The closest he will prescribe are pills that dissolve under the tongue, but these failed to help much. He has since put her on an oral preventative medication, but it makes her feel tired all day at work. They do help her to sleep good at night. So far she has not had another headache while on the oral preventative medication. Advice to parents if you give these to your children they have to be inserted high enough and fairly quickly, or they will cause a strong burning sensation that most kids will not care for. The Acetaminophen is much more gentle. They should be given after a BM.
