Genuine Gibson USA built bargain.
I think that these 2016 LP Studios are amazing guitars at any price. Mine came in its original Gibson Europe sealed packaging complete with a photo of my actual guitar on the final inspection bench, (cool), and was perfectly set up to play straight out of the box. The frets are excellently finished and the rounded neck very comfortable without being either too thin or too chunky. The satin worn brown finish although basic is well applied with a nice smooth surface and looks great. Gibsons weight relief system has been the subject of some debate but I can only say that it makes this guitar a joy to play standing up with no apparent loss of tone, I wish that some of my older Gibsons had been subjected to the same process, perhaps I'd play them more often. The pickups sound great and I really can't find any fault with the control system. At just about the same price as a Chinese built Epiphone this USA built little bargain is a no brainier. Get one before Gibson realise the mistake they've made and increase the price!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
