Old is good
I had an iphone 5s until recently. It got slower and slower and the battery was struggling to keep up with demands. Time for an upgrade, but I like the small size of the 5s in an age when phones are getting bigger and bigger. So the SE fitted the case I had for the 5s, BUT it is noticeably faster and yes, the battery life is excellent (it sees me over to the next day). And the price made this very good value for the phone's speed and capability. Touch ID is good - and now I can try out ApplePay.
