Excellent camera at a reasonable price.
Sharp, vivid photos are easy with this camera. It works like a point and shoot. And it can also be used like a manual camera, but not so easily. There are so many functions possible that It can take a while to learn them. The owner manual will be your friend. Video mode is extremely simple. There is one button to push to get the video camera started, and the rest is automatic. This pocket-sized camera meets my needs perfectly.

Downloads can be difficult
Controlling aperture for portraits is difficult to master. I had thought that the camera would have done that for me. The WIFI doesn't work with a Mac computer. One must upload the pics from the camera to a site with the camera's WIFI and then download the pics with Mac's web browser. Bluetooth doesn't work with a Mac either. It's a nice camera but if you own a Mac pc, this is not going to work well. I am disappointed because there was no full disclosure by the manufacturer and that is why I gave it only 2-stars.

Great Camera with Garbage Audio
I have always been a huge fan of Canon Camera's. This Camera is a very nice camera, but the Mic is garbage. Very low tones with base sound. If taking Video like I do, you will want to keep that in mind before purchasing. I absolutely love the Camera, but hate the Mic. I can correct the Camera's sound in my editing software, so it's not a huge issue, however, without the software to correct the audio,..you will be left with terrible audio in a video.

Good zoom. Good quality photos, but heavy, no view finder.
Pluses are a very long zoom. Negatives are a lack of a view finder, so harder to use like a camera in low light, bright sun, etc. Would much prefer a lighter weight camera for point and shoot. I guess for the narcissists the "selfie" folding screen might be useful, but for serious photography not really as useful as one that can take shots over the crowd, etc.

Pretty good point and shoot camera
It no DSLR camera that's for sure, but with the pop up screen and the 40x zoom, it's a great camera to have with you, once you finally get to know each setting on the camera the sx730 produces beautiful photo quality. At first, I thought I spent my money for nothing, but as I got familiar with the settings, it's pretty much a great buy. But don't buy it off your looking for DSLR like photos. I have a t5i, and though it's an older version, I still love it, it's my first entry level DSLR. But this camera, the sx730 has for vlogging is great!
