Revival of the Flip Phone.
People often forget about the benefits of the flip phone and having proper buttons. Plus, although the weight is the same of something like the Samsung S8, it is smaller and more pocketable. So far it has done everything I need from an Android smartphone. The screen size would be a limitation if I wanted to watch YouTube and Movies but for regular phone calls, texts and emails it is perfect. As the screen icons can be made fewer and larger I can see it appealing to the elderly - but for them it could be a bit of overkill. My situation is that I have kept my Samsung S8 to use with a PAYG sim on the odd occasion I want a bigger screen. For example to use as a SatNav. When I do I wlll divert my calls from the Flip to the S8. But for normal day to day use it will be the Flip I carry all the time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

It's ok, not great.
I previously had the S6 edge and decided to upgrade to this phone. It's a bit bigger than the S6 and to be honest I don't really like the phone maybe I just need to take a bit more time to get used to it. I don't like the fact that the fingerprint scanner is on the back of the phone, it makes it a lot harder to use, I tend to use a code to unlock my phone now instead of scanner. I like that there is an adaptor with the phone so you can transfer everything from your previous phone quickly and easily. I also like that you can put an SD card in it, although I haven't used the feature yet. I don't like it when I get new message and it's hard to get to the actual message, you have to unlock the phone and then go back into the app the message came through, even when you pressed view on the message.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Good looking, easy to operate phone.
I love my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone. I have only a small amount of IT literacy but this ‘phone doesn’t tax my brain too much and understands most of what I’m trying to achieve. The quality of the photographs is excellent and the camera easy to use. The phone features Samsung’s own “Bixby”voice, organiser/help assistant. It’s a good looking phone too and I love the curved edges instead of a flat square screen. I can’t think of anything I dislike about this phone. This phone is perfect for the price, it looks good, it’s slim . The camera takes brilliant pictures which is why I chose this phone. It’s easy to navigate. Instead of having all the important apps on the main screen there is a slide across the screen from the right side portion to keep your mostly used apps in. The Pros The samsung s8 has a UHD display which is spec to 2560x 1440, 4gb of ram great for heavy muti-tasking and high end gaming or heavy programs. Great all round as the phone has glass front and back, with a silver metal trim,also the buttons are metal to match the looks. The battery is a 3000mhz great battery life for a full day by doing heavy gaming or watching movies, and using spilt screen by using 2 apps on screen you can get a good full day out of this phone. screen setting brightness was set at 55 percent Overall a great midrange phone for 2018 to 2019 i will recomend this phone to anyone as long it is under 400.
