Canon VIXIA HF R800 Bundle
I am very pleased with every item in this bundle. I am so glad I decided to buy this bundle versus just buying the camera and then adding items. For one, it was cheaper this way. Two, you have just about everything you need to really cover all your recording needs. I am very happy with the camera, the heart of the whole bundle. It works perfectly and I don't think you can go wrong with the Canon VIXIA line, regardless which one you buy. The box I received was packed FULL, but well. It took several minutes to unload everything. It arrived in great shape and on time. I would highly recommend this bundle. I do live broadcasts on FaceBook of sporting events, go all around our area for points of interest, do interviews, and on and on. This camera and bundled items are perfect for my needs. Highly recommend. You won't be sorry.

You Can't Pause While Filming!!!
The most important thing about it is YOU CAN'T PAUSE the video! The pause feature under "decoration" doesn't pause the video that's running. You can record to around 30 minutes, then it shifts to another video, but it makes it appear like you're still on the first video. So, not a great camcorder. Still, I like it that you can record 30 minutes continuously instead of the 20 minutes on my other camcorder.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It's so light weight it doesn't tire your hand out. I highly recommend this camera.
It's small, compact and easy to carry around. The instructions were good, but you still have to play around with the on screen directions a little to completely catch on to how it works, but that's with about anything you buy for the first time. The Canon HF R800 is a Great Camera for Recording Church Services.
We wanted to live stream our church services and after searching the internet for live streaming this camera kept coming up as a good camera for this purpose so we purchased the Canon R800. We have been very satisfied with the camera - used in tandem with the OBS software we have been able to record our services then upload to YouTube and Facebook. Good basic camcorder.
Compact and easy to use. Bought it to use as a streaming video camera for teaching online. You will need a video capture device to put between the camcorder and your PC/Mac. Working well for that application so far. Being an entry level camcorder, it does not have an accessory shoe, If you want or need to incorporate an external mic, which is highly desirable for good audio quality, you will have to hand hold the mic or use some kind of a rig to mount the mic on. Also suggest picking up an additional battery or two and an off-camera charger for the batteries. Better then I thought.
This camera needs some light to works it's best. Can be some noise in picture when dim. But outside it's wonderful. Did a Youtube video, with external mic. And It was impressive. Small and light yet has enough features to accomplish all my family and hobbyist needs. Good battery life and your choice of SD card capacity.
I Had an older Panasonic full-size tape recorder from 1988 and then a good Sony recorder for discs. Too much hassle using the camera to watch my movies etc. Now just pop out the SD card and you're in business. The camera is small and easy to use with more than enough features to satisfy the family or hobbyist videographer. Inexpensive and fun to use. Cost way less than a stimulus check!!!!! LOL. Awesome camcorder. Exactly what I was looking for. I bought mine used, but it was in perfect like-new condition. Only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because while the description said "no accessories," I don't consider a power cord to be an "accessory." Used this model for years... Love it!
I have used this model over the years for creating videos and live streaming. It produces a nice high definition picture that meets my needs. It is easy to use. The touch screen menu is intuitive and therefore easy to use. Battery life is good. Ma y features in the menu too many to list. I've used it for years. Purchased this one to add to my collection tin.
