Really nice everyday lens for pentax. Images are quite sharp at 28 but it does fall off slighty when opened full but nothing major. Nice weight and being full frame is excellent - for a good price well worth having in your collection.

Must have for the price
This is not ordinary kit lens but rather mid range priced very good lens. Images are bit soft on the edges but that's subjective I'm a bit spoiled by good'ol primes. You have to zoom in severely to see the softness. I would recommend it to amateurs and enthusiasts and I bet none of them would be disappointed.

Very nice but really needs to be cheaper.
A stellar, but expensive general purpose lens that matches the Pentax K1 nicely. If you could live with one lens this would be it. Weatherproof too.
