These OEM controller HALVES are just too pricey.
It's unavoidable that half of a switch controller is 30-40 bucks. But it's rediculous. They are well made and very nice but 80 bucks for a controller is steep. I thought the Xbox one and ps4 controllers were pricey at 60 dollars but Nintendo managed to top it. Not many options and I am all about OEM vs. 3rd party when it comes to Nintendo. Nintendo’s newest controller design is out of this world with functionality and practicality. The joy sticks are responsive and smooth. Better condition than I expected from used controllers. Very happy.
I got this second set of joy-cons because I wore down the finish on the ones that came with the switch from playing too much BotW. Yes, for whatever reason the controllers have a finish applied to them and excess use with wear it down. Takes some getting used to...
If you’ve already gotten used to things like the Wii or those PlayStation wand things while you’re playing, these should be a breeze. If, like me, you’re used to a single controller, these have a bit of a learning curve. Once you get used to it, though, they’re really cool. Worth it
I payed a little over 40$ for these joy cons, and they work great. I was worried that there might be drift, but they are just fine.
