A Sharp APS-C Normal Lens That Belongs in Your Camera Bag
This is an excellent prime lens for Fuji X cameras. Its small footprint, low profile and light weight make it a no-brainer for travel and street photography. XF 50mm F/2 R WR: One of two lenses you need
This is the perfect focal length to compliment a normal lens. I have this and a 23mm, and I think that's all I'll need for my load out. This lens is addictive, and I find that leaving it on my X-Pro3 when I should be using a normal lens encourages creative images that I otherwise would've missed.

Best 50mm on the market.
This is an amazing lens. I'm finding this to be very underrated. It is not a typical 50mm which pretty much every camera manufacturer offers a budget lens often sold as a kit lens. No, this is something very special.Not only is this lens razor sharp but the color is spectacular. This reminds me of the old Hasselblad lenses which are rated almost perfect, because of the color saturation, not as much in the sharpness, however the Fuji lens has both. I also shoot with the medium format Fuji 50R, so I am more into the quality of most of their lens achievements. Step aside Hasselblad, there is now a higher standard of excellence, the very best lenses are now here at an affordable cost. This 50mm, I guess it's about a 75mm cropped of course.This is by far the best medium size portrait lens on the market. Small and compact and sharp
Many others have declared this to be a superb lens. It is. I use it on my X-T20 and am amazed at the image quality. Amazed because I've been using a Sony A6000 with the f1.8 35mm lens that I thought was pretty darn good. The Fuji blows it out of the water. There was a noticeable improvement in my images, and I'm not a pixel-peeper. I tested, and was impressed with the f1.4 35mm Fujinon also, but I decided the compact size, weather resistance and especially the price, made the f2.0 a better value since I didn't really need the extra speed of the f1.4. Amazing lens and great price.
I have had previous workings with Fuji with the GX680 camera and it's line up of lenses. I know their optics are by far the best, which made it easy for me to go with the Xpro 2 and getting this lens. They are small and easy to switch out.
