Pity
As a great lover of Mary Berry's books I was so disappointed when I bought this one. There was nothing wrong with the contents but the script in the book was in a very pale grey colour and is so hard to read without a bright light. Admittedly, I wear glasses but still found it so difficult to see the writing with them on, such a shame as it's put me right off using this book from the onset.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Love this book
Having watched Mary Berry's Everyday program on TV, I was inspired by her recipes and decided to buy the book. So far I have tried 4 of the recipes and just find them very easy to follow. Some people mention the pale colours of the writing, but I really don't have a problem with that even though I do wear glasses. My only issue is trying to keep the book open at the correct page as it is very tightly bound, however, the book is of excellent quality and I very much look forward to trying other recipes. Thank you Mary Berry for inspiring me to start cooking properly again. My photos certainly look like the pictures in the book 😀

Some amazing recipes. Haven't had chance to try many yet, but I watched the TV series and drooled a lot, so I'm really looking forward to cooking lots of exciting dishes. The pictures are very helpful, and there is a lot of excellent advice as well. I don't know if you can describe the content of a cookery book as compelling but I ticked the box. It is a useful set of recipes in a helpful well written format.
