Excellent dashcam for the price with some very good features
Looks and feels like a decent quality dashcam and what you would expect from a leading brand in its field. Has some useful features such as emergency SOS and parking mode, as well as WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity to data sync with the Nextbase app. App is easy to use and fairly straightforward to set up, although the quick start guide only really gives diagrams and very little instructions, so it took me some time to work out how to set up and install the device in the car. The emergency SOS feature is a paid-for subscription, although you do get a three month free trial period. Hard to find any difference between this and a brand new one. Came as described and on time. Used this for a weeks holiday and seemed fine. Switch on car and camera automatically starts up and records. Does all it claims to do, nice clear video, easy to use, just touch screen to take a still image, touch button at bottom of screen to lock an incident so it won't be recorded over. This seller had to refer to this item as refurbished but in truth it was totally unused therefore in my book, brand new. It was still in the original box with all the component parts that went with a new item and the only thing it needed was a memory card but that doesn’t come with a new product anyway so no issues there. Easy to set up and does everything it should do. Good quality pictures. Others have had problems connecting to their phones. I’ve not tried this but have connected to my laptop by usb on the camera and that is perfect. Large full screen video in excellent quality so very pleased.
