Is this safe?
After purchasing this product I found out that Which would not endorse this product because it has a plastic backing and if catches on fire it spreads very quickly. I will use it at home in my garage because it is not illegal to have a plastic backing and my freezer is the same but it was going in an attic flat so have had to buy another different metal backed one because of these safety concerns.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not as advertised (but I like it)
Coop Electricals advertised this freezer as being suitable for outbuildings. I got it and read the manual. It's not for outbuildings - for household use only. I contacted Hotpoint to verify. So, after I made space for this in the house I can tell you it's a really nice little freezer, but there were several other similar models for a lot less money.
