Flowers in the attic series
As a fan of the original movie and books by V.C Andrews, I am a huge fan. Although I gave the movies a 5 star rating, I feel they should have spent more money on the films and feel that instead of a hour and a half movie for each book, they should have had a 12 hour mini series for each book. That way they could have went further with the story and characters and development and captured everything from the novels rather then it being rushed. If you read the books, skip the movies. You will be very disappointed
If you never read the books, you will probably like the movies. It's definitely "Lifetime movie" material. The flow wasn't very good, and some of the acting is not great. If you read the books, you will be very disgusted by how much they skipped, altered and just plain screwed up. They left out important characters and stories. I was not impressed.
