Amazing vacuum
I vacuum every day as I have a dog that sheds a lot of hair. I’ve used another well known brand vacuum for several years and thought that was doing a really good job, but when I got my Shark I was amazed at how much it picked up. It is fairly quiet, easy to use and very efficient. Cleaning the stairs with the lift away was a doddle. Just wish I’d bought a Shark years ago.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Suitable for Popeye!
Easy assembly but I regret buying this after only one use. Yes, it is lightweight but make sure you eat some spinach before using. Used on short pile carpets and hard floors. No problem with hard floors when selected with the switch. Carpets - absolutely impossible to operate because the suction is far too excesive even withe suction reduced. Even with hard floors selected it's still virtually impossible to use on carpets. Therefore what's the point of "max" suction when it's even much more than minimum setting? Very disappointed because in comparison to Shark cordless this mains vacuum is in no way user friendly. The mains cable is a good length but why is it not more flexible? Super Shark Suction
Amazing suction! Unbelievable amount of crud sucked up from a carpet that had just been cleaned with a Dyson (for comparison). So impressed. The lift-away is light making stairs & high areas a breeze. Upright use is thorough & gets into all the nooks & crannies. Removed ALL dog & cat hair, the anti hair wrap technology leaves the brush roller totally hair free, even coping with my very long hair with ease. Use on hard floors is also superb. It has even brought up the pile on my carpet, it looks like new! My neighbour was gushing about how brilliant her Shark was & I confess that I thought it was a load of hype so borrowed hers for a test...OMG! I purchased one the same day. If I had to find any fault it would be that the power cable design is a little basic & when using the wand if you don't lift the lift away bit then the upright tends to topple over but over all I can happily say that it is the best vacuum I've ever owned in 60 years!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A bit disappointed.
I could hardly wait for my shark to arrive. It was very easy to put together and it has fantastic suction. I bought the pet head version because I have a wee Jack Russell who sheds a lot. I have a chunky cord chair at the window which he loves to sit on to watch outside. It was always so difficult to clean. NOT ANY MORE. The pet head is brilliant and my chair is so much easier to clean. Great on carpets too. I was disappointed because it is very difficult to manoeuvre around my small living room. Great for cleaning stairs
Bought to replace traditional upright cleaner as my old one was difficult to use on the stairs. Still learning to use the Shark as everything in a different place. Very pleased with the long power cord which means I can clean the stairs in one go. best cleanrt i've ever had.
.. Having had two Dyson and got fed up with the clunky and sometimes difficulty to undo and reinsert the hose etc.. Thoughtwe would give this a try after being recomended it..The Shark is Sooo easy to use. Its light and manouverable and lifting out the hose section is easy, makes it so easy to move around. Made our carpets look new.
We have a cat and this vacuum really effectively cleared the fur from our carpet. It was night and day better than our old Henry. It needs no bags.
