It is a good product depending on your location weather conditions and internet service. The best discription I can say it is "Moody" The internet iof today is truly controlled. with data supply rates. And number of people on line at any given time of day or night. Yes it bosts my signal. I am in What is called a dead zone. minimal reception. it receives 4g my 5g gets no reception period. Only amplifies signal. It does NOT create organic signal from your ISP's internet
Contrary to the description of this product, it ONLY amplifies existing cell signal. This is useful when you have good signal strength outside but poor signal inside your home. It does not connect to your internet to create a brand NEW "cell tower" inside your home. You MUST have signal somewhere that you can amplify. Signal Booster works. BARS in the basement....at long last!!
They system was extremely simple to install. Finding the strongest signal for the Window unit was the longest step. After years of struggling to get a cell signal in my basement office, I now consistently have good reception, often full bars! The only reason for 4-stars vs 5 is the reception improvement is limited to the area close to the Coverage unit. I’m truly amazed!
Where I live, I have absolutely no cell signal in my home. If I wander around outside I’ll occasionally pick up a bar but nothing useable. I figured, for the price of this unit…it’s worth a try. I placed the window unit in different locations until I finally found a bar of signal. This turned out to be out in my garage. I then placed my other unit inside so it had an unobstructed path to the unit in the garage. It had to still go through windows but not concrete walls, stone walls etc. To my utter delight, I suddenly had 3 bars inside!!! I went to YouTube and I was streaming a video for the first time in 10 years on my cell. I couldn’t be happier. Just use common sense when installing it. If you’re on Jupiter and plug this in it’s not going to magically create a cell network for you but if you’re in an area that has patchy coverage, this should work for you if you follow the instructions. T-MOBILE CELL BOOSTER
I have a T-Mobile modem (internet tower) that uses cell phone coverage to operate. Cell service isn't good in my area. Neighbors within 3 miles use the same modem and get 75-100 mbps out of their modem with no boost. I ordered the booster to boost the signal for my modem. It has not done that at all. In fact signal isn't showing improvement of any kind. It might be best fit for less remote areas or less mountainous regions but it doesn't work like it should. Didn't do what I needed....
I bought this as we get really weak signal. I was hoping to find a spot in the house for the main receiver with acceptable strength and be able to "relay" that to other areas of the home. Well, it didn't work. Remember this is not a booster in the respect that it takes 1 bar and makes it 3 bars. It just extends the 1 bar to the 2nd unit giving you the same strength as the receiver unit in another part of the house. In short, my signal was too weak at the receiver end to make much of a difference. I suggest this to people who get solid signal on the top floor of the home, but weak on the bottom floor. slightly better than nothing - not the ideal solution
It is what it is - if you were thinking it would connect to your Internet and provide a dedicated cell booster signal, then this is not the correct unit. This does allow you to find that special spot in your home or office where you maybe have 1 bar of cell service - you place the window unit there, place the repeater unit in a central location within your home or office and it will help increase signal, just not anywhere close to the cellspot that connects to your InternetVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

It works with conditions. I live in a one story house. No windows area will give me a good signal from the "window unit". (2-story or higher vantage point with no obstruction should work better.) I had to put the "window unit" just out side of the house on the wall under the soffit and wrapped the "window unit" in a thin plastic bag for weather-proving. Signal Strength
As much as I would like to give 5 stars I can’t in good conscience do that for all the viewers. My signal strength was only increased by one bar so I have to rely on wi-go calling. I won’t return the unit. Given that I live in a rural area.
