Other than that, there isn't really such a thing as a diesel engine oil as the vast majority of oils are suitable for both petrol and diesel engines, regardless of how they are marketed.

R56 cooper S intank petrol fuel filter
Having replaced the H.P Fuel pump on the engine, I'd recommend the fuel filter to be replaced, to be sure that clean filtered fuel will be entering the h.p pump especially when the cost of this component is quite considerable and the filter cost is very reasonable.
