Following earlier concerns, I can confirm that the Tornado1200 was able to fully restore my battery voltage which has been trouble free, ever since. Does what it says
Great, good charger, multistep rate for faster charging, works on a range of battery types, even recovered a battery that wouldn't charge and has been sitting 8 months. Had this A while and used it a lot. Campervan batteries especially, keeps them alive even after deep discharge. Motorcycles, and cars all works well. ie 120 Amp hour - car setting takes 10-16 hours from (too flat to turn starter enough to start vehical) to full charge.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poor quality build and zero after post purchase support
I used this for three months under normal conditions, after which it dropped to delivering a mere 5 volts (totally insufficient to charge a 12v battery) and the display failed to indicate a setting. The company, Topcon UK, were polite but unhelpful when I pointed out their own 36 month guarantee. This is a nonsense - I guess they are sitting pretty because this doesn't apply to UK trading laws. The build quality is rubbish, though claiming to be of quality. Leave alone would be my advice.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Surprisingly Good
In the week since it arrived I've used it on 3(4) batteries: 2x 12V and one 24V pair. It has worked on all but one (probably defective) battery. The charging voltage selection is automatic, and the current drops as the battery charge rises - just like it should. The display shows charging voltage, current, temperature and battery status, and continues to display battery voltage and status even when the mains is switched off. Overall I'm impressed given the low cost. I would have awarded 5 stars but I have deducted one star due to the shortness of the cables. Given that I'm going to chop off the croc clips and replace them with a 12S caravan connector it doesn't matter to me, but others might care.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Doing what it says on the box!
Charger is well presented out of the box, great croc clips and looks like a ctec charger . It's more than a charger ... apparently it can work magic on reconditioning old batteries but, as I haven't purposely used this I can't honestly say more.
