DJI mavic mini
Been looking at drones for a while to try and decide what one to get.After reading a mountain of reviews ad looking at different types of drones I decided on the DJI mavic mini.i am totally new to drones and this was classed as a good beginner drone.So delighted I did as this is a brilliant piece of kit and excellent for beginners.I had it out for the 1st time yesterday and it only takes a short amount of time to get used to the controls.I would definitely recommend paying the extra for the combo as I couldn’t imagine going out and only flying for 25 mins or so.I am going to be having so much fun with this.If you are thing about definitely get it you won’t be disappointed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Amazing drone, grate service!
Thank you, very happy. Bought this after owning the spark. I think I may have to buy the Mavic Air 2, next. Lol I haven’t taken it out for it’s first flight yet as waiting for batteries to fully charge. Great combo pack, though they give you two charging cables and only one plug. Ideally could do with the plug with two USB ports to charge the batteries and the remote control at the same time. Luckily I have another charger but would have been a nice addition. Old model but great feature.
Mavic mini is very stable and easy to fly. It is small enough to take anywhere. (It has been superceded by mini 2 which has 4k camera instead of 2.7k plus probably other enhancements). Being under 250 grams they do not need registering at present though users do still need to know and adhere to CIA drone rules. It is also small / controllable enough to fly indoors preferably with prop guards The drone has a 3-axis gimbal whish works well to stabilise video. I think this older model as now discounted is good value especially Fly More Combo with 2 extra batteries, case, charger for 3 batteries, prop guards etc. One negative is that Follow mode is not included in DJI Fly App. The drone has all the sensors needed to accomplish this and it can be achieved with a 3rd party app available at a modest cost but also probably invalidating DJI warranty.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent For Beginners
What a great piece of kit! Bought for my wife who is in to photography and has been watching drones evolve over a couple of years but hadn't had the funds to buy. She is obviously a novice and its early days in her learning how to fly it and getting the best videos and photos but she, and I, are very impressed at how it operates, its safety functions and the quality of video. Excellent little drone for the casual user
Bought the Mavic Mini after I wanted something with better battery life and gimbal / camera I 'upgraded' from the DJI Spark and the Mavic Mini certainly beats the battery life and camera quality of the Spark. Although one can get a small folding drone for around £100 which I have tried as well, I have no regret spending extra £300+ to get this.
