Simple alarm clock with some modern features.

Looks good, flakey performance when streaming.
The clock thankfully worked fine and I like the fact you can choose different faces. What I found was the streaming was flakey so if I asked it to stream some radio it would do so for a random amount of time and then just cut out. It would occasionally restart and catch up but also just not bother. I put this down to maybe having a weak WIFI signal to my bedroom so actually bought an extender. It didn't make any difference. Some forums said that having the power cable wrapped around itself caused a problem and I also had it sitting on top of my old clock radio. Moving it away from that and unraveling the cable has improved the situation but some days its fine others not. Thankfully the alarm has always worked but I'm not confident enough to stop using my old clock radio as a backup. So flor me it's a flawed design if it is so sensitive to interference. Almost a perfect alarm clock
Was a little bit surprised how small it was when first got it out of the box, but once I got it set up by the bed it is a good size. It has a good feel to it and is well made. Using the home app on Android phone was easy to set up, just took a few minutes to download updates. Great feature being able to choose clock face and to snooze the alarm just give it a wack. The face it self can be seen in bright light easily and the auto dim work fantastic and soon as the lights go out dims right down better than any alarm I've ever had before. Sound quality is ok to just have a bit of music going in background but doesn't handle it too well at loud volumes. My only small issue is that you cannot choose a song to have as your alarm, just the few stored options. Hopefully they might change this in the future? But this is only a minor thing and is so close to being the alarm clock I've been waiting for. Great product very glad I bought it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A really great CLOCK which does so much more.
First and foremost this is a smart clock with a speaker, and I think it's absolutely brilliant. So what I'm looking for in a bedside clock; - Compact and looks good. Check. - Clear display that's bright in the day yet not so bright at night it keeps me awake. Check. - Easy to set multiple alarms with 'tap on top' snooze + a 'sunrise' feature as a bonus. Check. - Able to play my fave radio stations. Check - streamed so many many more available than any DAB radio. The speaker is just fine for this, by the way. Then there's the smart speaker features I'm looking for; - Mic you can switch off. Check. - Absolutely no video camera in the bedroom. Check. - Through 'hello Google', quick and easy access to Spotify playlists, weather, football scores, news, journey time to work etc. etc. etc. Honestly, I couldn't be happier, I flippin' love this as a CLOCK. Cute and stylish
Only one night in but liking. Small for next to the bed great features. Sound is good for it's intended use. Easy to set up on google home. Bargain price in black Friday sale. Only negative was waiting from 25/11 till 15/12 to actually receive. Bit of annoying coms with Currys over where it was...dispatched but out of stock, then royal mail's fault...got here in the end. Exactly what you want from a bedside clock
Note - the screen is smaller than most phone screens. If you want a big screen to watch videos in bed, this is not that. It is an excellent clock+ the night time dimmer mode is perfect (I'm very fussy about light pollution at night), the sound is okay, and it has actual volume buttons. That work! (Take that, Google Home Mini!) It tells me the time, sets alarms, shows and tells the weather and any appointments I have coming up. It does not flash photos at me when I'm trying to sleep, it doesn't have a camera, so no frantic diving behind the bed, if someone tries to video call me. Clever little clock
This little clock has fulfilled all of the things I need from a bedroom clock. It looks a quality piece, unobtrusive and dims to a very low level in the dark, when you figure out how to set it. Setting up up is very easy and almost all adjustments can be made by swiping up down or sideways on the display. The alarm can be set by voice or on the display there's different 'clock faces' to choose for but the analogue ones look a bit daft as they try to fit into and oblong display. you can play music from different sources and the sound quality is acceptable, it's not meant to be HiFi quality.
