Best drum machine for the price and sound hands down, just buy it you wont regret it.
My favorite drum machine in my studio. I love the sound of drum machines, thats why I own several and the Behringer Rd-9 has definetly earned some stripes in it own right. Noits not a Roland 808, doesnt it sound like one? Yes, and then some with the revesre physical design, and similar buttons and knob setup. I spent many hours watching youtub videos and listening to the comparison, The Behringer held itsown in some ways has a more current and uniqud sound. I have also heard from many Roland 808 users that each one will sound slightly different from another, and why would anyone pay 4,000-5000 foran older drum machine that you really could not disringuish one fomthe other, unless you are a collector and want the roland, i would rather pay less then 400.00 and be just as satisfied.

Love my Behringer RD-8....
Item came 3 days before expected. Great drum machine the RD-8 is. Behringer pretty much got it on the money. I get to take it bake with 80's beats with the 808 sound. Beautiful 808 recreation!
Superbly intuitive to use. Beautifully designed and so alike to the original. Love the sound, the versatility and the ease of use. Unfortunately my machine's Open Hi Hat is not properly working but for some reason I actually find it special because of it.
