Very bright lights compared to standard bulbs. Especially useful (essential?) on unlit country roads and lanes during winter nights. The only down side is that they do not last as long as standard bulbs, about 12-14 months from experience, but they are used every day even during the daytime. first set I got lasted less than 6 months, could be my van though as it is always the N/S bulb that blows, never the O/S one? Will see if this set last any longer.
