Excellent WiFi coverage throughout the house.
I have been using the first generation Google WiFi routers (3 pack) for the past several years with decent coverage. However, I continued to experience several WiFi dead spots throughout the house especially in my garage and in the patio. The second generation Nest WiFi is a much improved product and it is backward compatible with the first generation units. So, when I installed these 2 pack google Nest WiFi units and supplemented them with my existing 3 pack Google WiFi units it resolved my WiFi problem. Now, I have full WiFi coverage throughout the house including in the garage and patio. Now my Tesla Model 3 parked in the garage can connect to WiFi and upgrade it’s software without any problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Did Not Live Up to Expectations
They look great. But, I'm in a 1,650sqft, two-story home and at the router I get 235M download and 12M upload from Spectrum. But, when I run a Speedtest on my iPhone 13 PRO MAX and on my iMac(using Speedtest App), I can only achieve 60-90M download and about 8M upload both at the router and point. I've even gone as far as putting the "Point" within visual distance of 30 feet of the router. Also, they've reset themselves. Not sure how that happened. I opened the app a few days after I set up everything and it said it had reset itself. How in the hell did that happen??? Not sure what else to do. I come from an Orbi Mesh RBK50 that was getting full speed at all parts of the house and only replaced it after 3 years after starting not to work correctly. Keeps things simple
With the Google home app, the Nest WiFi and point system becomes the least difficult router I’ve ever used. Testing speeds and monitoring the network is easy and intuitive. Adding multiple points to extend the coverage, and even adding another router as a point was seamless! Highly recommended for those looking to take their router and turn it into a WiFi mesh network. Plus, the points act as individual Google dots and speakers: responding to voice commands and able to play music/audio. Why did I live with bad WiFi for so long?
I paid for 200mbps from my internet provider, but was getting a fraction of that with my old router and Netgear range extender. I updated to the Nest Mesh and am now getting 20x the speed throughout my house. The Nest router is located in my office on the bottom floor in the corner of my house and the 1 other Nest point is 30’ away in a living room on the second floor. My office gets 200+ mbps because it is 5’ away from the router. The area around the point in the kitchen is getting 170mbps and I get 100mbps in a room on the third floor above the kitchen point. I also have a 60’ Ethernet cable attached from the Nest router to an XBox which is pulling down 228mbps. I am giving details because I wanted to get the best range for the price. Awesome Wifi Router!
The product is awesome!! It definitely fixed the signal in my house! My old wifi router was outdated and it was time for a new one. I recommend the google nest wifi! It works well with clearing out dead zones in your home. It came faster in the mail than expected. It was nicely package and priced reasonably! The price was more reasonable than what would of been paid for in a department store; plus it was brand stink’n new too. Five stars all the way!

Better than I expected, nice little router
Was concerned a router with no antenna would have low range but it works better than my old router. I do wish the access point had an ethernet in port but I can see why they left it out. Unbelievable quality
Amazing product. Trippled my home wifi speed in comparison to my standard ISP AP. Full home coverage with only the router itself - 2300sqft over 3 floors! Wow. Impressive! Don't need Google Assistant
It's too early to tell, but I wanted a mesh-type WIFI network with at least one extender. This seemed to fit the bill, but then I found that the "point" (or extender) also incorporates "Google Assistant." The assistant talks to you like Alexa. I didn't ask for nor did I want this assistant. In fact, the "point" is in the guest bedroom, where no one ever goes unless a guest is here.
