Great smart thermostat with great user interface and app/web interface and integrated Amazon Echo (Alexa) and integrates with Apple HomeKit. I have this ecobee 5, 2 ecobee 4’s, 2 ecobee 3 lites, and 2 ecobee Smart Si’s between 2 homes. This is the best one yet: glass front pane, prettier external sensor. Clean and easy to use

Great price on a smart thermostat
The Ecobee works with my 20 year old hvac system. Installation was not very hard, just need to ensure the right wires are connected. The thermostat is great and easy to use! Best thermostat
Have used multiple smart thermostats. (Honeywell, Nest, etc) and this thermostat has the most configurability out of all of them. The Nest was better about learning routines until the ecobee added the eco+ feature. You don't have to be a pro to install
This is the pro model. It would be easier for a pro to install since some set up settings require system knowledge. The homeowner version install walk thru is easier to follow since it assumes homeowners know nothing. But I soldiered on since I have an engineering background and it works great.
