The sensor itself is probably fine, but reviews of this type shortly purchase are pretty pointless as this item should last many ears and 60,000 miles plus. With respect to this sensor it is not exactly the right part for a 4.2 V8 normally aspirated 2005 X350. It screws in / plus in and works but the lead is too long so has to be looped around and cable tied in place. The lead length would be about the right length for a downstream sensor on this car.. I am still getting an intermittent fault code for this sensor so it may be faulty or it may be a wiring or ecu fault.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good replacement for XK8 code 1646
Shows 0.1 ohms resistance so perfect for use in Jaguar xk8 rather than cheaper ones which show higher resistance and throw up engine warning light. Easy to fit but the electrical connector is a tight fit - that’s not a criticism but you need to ensure that you push the connectors together firmly. Resolved code 1646 after clearing code and battery reset on 2001 XK8.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
