Gosford Park proves that murder can be such an inconvenience.Bonus Content Cast and Filmmaker's Q&A Session Gosford Park finds director Robert Altman in sumptuously fine form indeed. Gosford Park manages to be fabulously entertaining while exposing human shortcomings, compromises, and our endless need for confession.

About this product

Product Information

Atmospheric period piece with an all-star cast set in the early 1930s at a country mansion, where a weekend shooting party turns into a murder mystery when the host winds up dead. Among the gathering are cash-strapped relatives of the victim, a Hollywood movie mogul, songwriter Ivor Novello, and the servants - whose relationship with their masters and mistresses is brilliantly exploited.

  • A blast from the past!

I wish there were more films of this quality around today rather than the rubbish they are currently making.
