  • Stellar (8 out of 10)

Stellar. I think his best since his debut back in the 90's. Just has more color and life than some of his recent work - more passion and commitment. It's a bit of a grower, though, be warned as it is somewhat more aggressive and rock style than his usual calmer folk-like singer-songwriter approach - but it's worth getting into - it rewards the time and effort with some of his best lyrics to date. Overall, I would give it 8 out of 10.
