Blade runner 2049 (Blade Runner part 2)
Follow up movie to Blade runner (Der! Obvious) Un like some part 2's, follow ups. You'll have to have seen Blade runner the first installment (" in my mind set, it's never to be beaten ") to be able to make head or tails of this movie. Settle down for this movie as it's a little slow in places, loads of C.G.I. must have cost millions, could have saved them selves a few quid and made the film flow a little better by halving the C.G.I.effects (" how many rainy shots, flying cars, dancing girls and glowing Cola advertising do you want to see ") But in the end, when you finally get to the end ("it took me 4 attempts to finally get to the finnish. ") I hope you also felt like I did it was finally worth the effort. 8 out of 10 for this great movie.

Long, slow and boring.
What a disappointment! I love science fiction and am a Harrison Ford fan. The original film was riveting with engaging characters and a bleak look at a possible future...right to the very end it held my attention and I couldn't wait to see the new release. What happened? Did they lose the script? If you cut out all the boring rubbish you'd be left with a still photo of Harrison Ford. Very long, very slow and not worth forcing yourself to see the end.

Brilliant
Went to the cinema to watch this long awaited film and it didn't disappoint. I couldn't wait for the dvd to be released to be able to watch it in the comfort of my home. Loved it again. There are rumours of a follow-up hope we don't have to wait another 30 years for it.

Good but the original is better
The first Bladerunner film has always been my favourite film of all time. This one relies too much on the old one for the same style of atmosphere, despite supposedly being set 30 years ahead of the last film. Having said that, its still a good film to watch. It feels damp, cold and gritty. I didn't engage so much with the lead character as I did with Harrison Ford in the original film. But at this price and a load of extra's it was worth the punt.

Good film but no comparison
I liked the film overall but the plot was not very engaging. I found my self feeling as though I needed to watch the film again to get the point of the film. I'm a big fan of the first Bladerunner and found this film 'thin' in comparison. There should have been more views of the society that the new bladerunner was operating in, not enough enigmatic characters.

So it is a very good film to watch after part one of blade runner.
I will give this film blade runner 2049 a ten out of ten because it's the follow up from the first blade runner that i bought off of eBay at the same time as it makes a good story line in full after watching both of them.

Do a runner!
Too slow. Too predictable. Grey. Doesn't compare well with the original Blade runner at all. Needed a stronger lead character and a plot within the rather thin main plot. Yes, I know there was meant to be such a plot but it was tenuous to say the least. Where are all the classvactors these days???

The new Blade Runner
I found the movie a little long. Special Effects hide the story. Which holds with goodies and baddies. Ryan Gosling steals the show. It is much better than the original Blade Runner.
