Happy days
You get what you pay for. But saying that the reason you got one of these is because they get the job done. If you get one brand new it might be ok at 1st but when it gets worn in the box starts rattling etc. But if you reinforce the box you maybe onto a winner.

Low cost bass bins
At the very lower cost scale for bass bins i was apprehensive - the build quality isn't as good as more expensive bass bins but the quality of the sound is impressive - i bought 2 to match both of my powered 15" tops and the richness of sound is very good - the fine-tuning takes no getting used to and once they're set up to match the style of music your playing they are excellent - apart from the build quality I cannot fault these - POSSIBLY a cover over the control knobs on the back to prevent accidental damage , they could easily be caught and snapped off .

Budget subwoofer but worthwhile.
After two short uses mine started to hum or buzz so not really happy,also came with a dent on the grill and some small hole type marks on the top,so im guessing it was a returned or B stock.

18" active subwoofer
This is the second sub I have purchased and I can't fault them.i previously only tested them in my house and garden shed(I know,I could always hear their windows shut,opps!)for the first few months but recently played music for an boxing match,playing music for around 2 hours in total and these two 18"s plus double 15" tops filled the whole hall and i didn't even turn them up half way. The bass was proper,I mean I play reggae/bashment,r&b,garage so I have to have proper bass(weight) and these bad boys do not disappoint. Not played them for a whole night yet but will be soon! Don't know how these other £400/500 subwoofers sound but these will defo do me.always been a passive speaker sound man but actives may be the way forward.bless!!
