Future Utopian Society of a ‘Brave New World’ or ‘New World Order of Global Elites’?
“Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley to me, clearly succeeds in portraying a world where utopian society works very differently and it mostly avoids pushing a moral judgement on the reader, leaving you to make up your own mind. One of the major predictions of Huxley’s dystopia, and this differs markedly to what you read in George Orwell’s 1984 or Franz Kafka - has to do with the control by the authoritarian socialist state (i.e. big Brother) and since 2001 - emergence of the New World Order (NWO) global elites. The pre 2000 era films, like the ‘The Matrix’ and ‘Blade runner’, before there was ‘1984’, and previously 'Brave New World' which Aldous Huxley wrote in 1932 containing many of the futuristic technological dystopian details in the novel. The social elements from the story are similar to those in Orwell and Kafka and others, namely a society of obedient sheep or ‘sheeple’ run by the state and charitable dictators through brainwashing and groupthink (simulation). The book states that conditioning starts from the moment your life begins in a test tube to your final insignificant death, no-one suffers, no-one complains, and no-one is ever alone and where humans are factory farmed. Their future caste established from conception, by selective nourishment or poisoning of the foetus throughout its growth. The ‘new’ world is depicted as technologically advanced where everyone commutes in a helicopter. The family unit doesn't exist, the very thought of it is highly discouraged (clear evidence from the current global Covid-19 virus pandemic during 2020 lockdowns prove this point). Children are conditioned to behave to the aspects suggested by their particular caste. Alpha pluses run the world with Epsilon semi-morons at the bottom of the ladder. A world where you are constantly stimulated by synthetic machinery and require nothing, but one or two ‘Soma’ pills. 'Soma' is a magical drug which removes their worries, anger and frustration. Within the ‘Brave New World’ society there also exists 'savage' reservations. There are no clear specific protagonists in the plot. Main characters that come to my mind are: Bernard Marx, Lenina, Helmholtz, John (savage), Linda, Mustafa Mond etc. The story takes Bernard and Lenina to a savage reservation in Mexico where they meet John and Linda and bring them along to their ‘new’ world in London. Finally, the novel focuses in on the Savage's point of view and his feeling with respect to the so-called utopian world. The story with a few turn of events changes the Savage's perception of the ‘new’ world completely. At chapter 11, in the book at the top of page 140, it mentions: Eton Upper School and ‘Eton is reserved exclusively for upper-caste boys’ and girls’ - instantly reminded me of the old male Etonians from Oxford University at the Bullingdon Club including Boris Johnson the current UK, Prime Minister (PM) of the ruling government and some other Tory MPs and some former members of the previous Tory Governments and their renowned politics of Eugenics. Overall, in the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and genetic engineering many parallels can be drawn from the futuristic 1993 film Demolition Man was clearly inspired by this book and the film made some accurate predictions of the future, including: self-driving cars, video calling, smoking bans, and even the rise of Taco Bell etc. Brave New World novel concentrates on how to control people’s minds easily and this near future society is now coming in the form of the leaders of technology companies like Google, Facebook and many other tech specialists or expert technocrats (Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation) including significant number of other NWO elites who are working in close collaboration (cahoots) with world governments. The authoritarian aspects of this control and our blind acquiescence to the world’s ‘deep state’ that is forcibly trampling on individual choice and liberty, we are already giving up our choices, freedoms, privacy and liberties to machines and algorithms developed by these companies. And just like the state in Huxley and Orwell’s novel. The current prevailing circumstances during the so called, ongoing: Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) world-wide Pandemic our UK PM, and other leaders of Big Pharma drug companies including Medical doctors and technology corporations who are also telling us why it is in ‘our best interests’ and ‘they have no choice other than to impose severe national Lockdowns to counter a virus which is killing thousands to millions of people world-wide’. The book is highly recommended and an excellent read and is equally good as the George Orwell’s 1984.
In summary, this book should be compulsory reading for all people across the world both secular and religious minded and in particular world leaders that include politicians, medical doctors, scientists, industrialists, armed forces and many overzealous do-gooders who wish to impose upon us all globally.
