    Andrew Divoff delivers a performance worth watching

    The main character (The Djinn) delivers many zingers in Wishmaster 2, much like an old Clint Eastwood film. Wishmaster, did not have the same snappy and entertaining dialogue. Actor, Andrew Divoff (The Djinn), raises every other actors performance in every scene, he appears, in both films. The casting director hit a home run hiring Andrew Divoff. The weak link in both films is the script. So many opportunities to create a masterpiece! Here's just one example: In the first film, Wishmaster, the Djinn comes face to face with a priest ie a demon vs a priest, good vs evil, etc, etc. The possibility for extremely engaging dialogue presented itself to the writer and essentially, the writer just . . . sat on his hands. That said: I will definitely re-watch both films. I'm also going to explore more films with Andrew Divoff.

    a really enjoyed all four movies. I kind of like the take on these films depicting the genie as an evil character. the first two films are the best, but 3 and 4 have their charm too. overall very enjoyable.

    Wishmaster

    The original Wishmaster movie is packed with all kinds of horror cameos from some of the best in the genre of horror. The movie has a great flow to it until the end. The second movie was rushed and it really don't have what the first one did. The acting was not enough to save the movie. I loved these movies as a kid and I still like them now.
