Excellent portable BBQ
A small portable BBQ that is easy to use. Once the fire is going and charcoal added, the BBQ is straightforward to use and cooks well if you have the charcoal distributed evenly. There is a lid attached which can be used to temporarily hold cooked food - I have seen conflicting reports that the lid is not to be used for cooking though there is no difference between top and bottom so theoretically one could double the size of BBQ. I found that the half is easily big enough to feed a family of 4. Once the lid is closed, the BBQ retains heat for a considerable period of time. I did note that with the lid closed stuck meat on wire rack burns off :-) I do think that the breathing holes on the side could have more of them however that is a small down. Other than the fiddly little bolts to put the BBQ together I would recommend the BBQ. Lastly, the legs are quite short so if using on a surface/grass that is not heat resistant I would recommend placing protection underneath.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

had LOTS of sharp edges to file down before i could assemble or i would have had LOADS of cuts to contend with ,a bit fiddly to put together but once everything was done i was pretty happy with how it looked and how it will work as has some pretty good features like the air vents in both the top and bottom of the Barrel , wish the holding clasp to keep both sides open was better so it was actually fixed in instead of being loose , gonna drill a hole and fix it in properlyVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

I've found this product to be ideal for camping easy to transport and store. Due to its robust design it can withstand other camping gear being placed on top of it.. The two part design also means you can save on fuel by using only 1 side for cooking when there are just one or two of you and then by using both sides you can effectively double the cooking area when wishing to cook for more. .A quick wipe with a damp cloth when cool gets rid of any remaining charcoal ash from the burning area prior to storage for transport after use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great value portable barbecue
Bought this to replace similar bbq for use at our caravan - storing it under the van. Relatively easy to assemble - instructions poor but straightforward (just remember to put air vent plates on the inside) We use one side if its just our family and both if we have visitors.
