  • Easy to understand reference book.

I'm interested in making a few articles of traditional Japanese clothing. This book is a great reference for Traditional Japanese sewing with modern fabric, and shows patterns and techniques for kimono, haten and haori. There are also patterns for obi and tabi socks. There is only one pattern for a style of pant, mompe. There is no pattern for hakama pants, which is really what I wanted the book for😢. Still a great read, and happy to have it.
