Bison 40lb thrust
Lightweight, quiet and delivers the power. I am very happy with my recent purchase of this 12 volt outboard. I am using this to power my 2.3m inflatable, in top speed it is reasonably fast and with an 85 Ah battery and two hours boating around it still has plenty more power. Great piece of kit
This is a fabulous piece of kit. I had it out for the first good run the other night and went for over four miles on the river. Obviously in the fastest speed it would run the battery down quicker, but I was happy just to cruise along and occasionally I flicker her up to the top gear. Excellent trolling motor for the money!
Can't argue for £119, seems quiet enough with enough power, light for a 40lb thrust brushed motor!..only seems to draw around 30 amps full speed to, so not huge battery drainer!....5 forward speeds 3 reverse, mounted on the side of my kayak, does the job!...I just hope it doesn't start to let in water like my previous watersnake 34lb trolling motor after just 18 months!...time will tell I suppose.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Electric trolling motor.

Great little motor!
This motor works well, and propels our 8 foot dinghy at about 4 miles per hour with three adults in it. Very pleased. We love the 5 speed option (not to mention the 3 backwards!) We can comfortably troll for 5 miles on a single car battery charge. Only one issue: the threads on the screw bolts that hold the motor to the end of the boat don't allow the bolts to close quite enough; we solve this by bulking out the gap with some plywood.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
