Avoid this!
Heat turns off and on. The only option is to set on high temp for a period of time, then shut completely off once warm enough. Today the unit popped and melted wires when I turned it on. Lost all power. Electrician said he has seen this issue before on the same unit. This could have been a fire.

Just what I needed.
Item arrived earlier than promised. Thankfully my son in law is in HVAC and knew how to install since my old one had 4 wires. Need to add the ampere load to description. One of my old thermostats controlled two baseboard heaters and needed a higher ampere load than this one. Honeywell did not have one, I found one from "King". Waste of Money - Does not work
Did not work out of the box.. I guess that is why it was cheap , the old one worked but slider was broken but this does nothing .. Maybe buy a better one from the jungle Site or Home Depot so you can return junk like this..Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished
