Perfect tool watch
Bought mine used but it is in pretty much perfect condition. Has a rugged simplicity about the design which is irresistible I think. Very easy to read at a glance, with no unnecessary complications, aside from the tiny date window, and keeps very accurate time. Also, the watch has a nice weight to it, which I prefer, and the monocoque design is unusual and elegant, and very comfortable. The bracelet also seems to be very solidly made and, like the rest of the watch, beautifully finished; nothing shiny or showy, but perfect for a great tool watch.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Watch is exactly what it’s called - Tough
You can purchase a watch for every occasion and event - or buy one that does it all (or most of it). This is that one. 200m WR, sapphire crystal, excellent lume, solar powered. Trip to (name the place)? This would probably be only watch you need. With 22mm lugs can add about any strap you want in most any color and change the look completely. Had one and let it go - this one stays. Owned an Inox and I like this better- fits under cuff nicely. Gonna Have a Funky Good Timepiece
I've read so many great reviews about this watch which really got me coveting one, and I'm so glad I got one. The two piece construction (no caseback) allows the watch to sit on top of the wrist with a gorgeous profile for it's 42mm dial size. The entire watch feels like it was made out of one piece of metal. Add the fact that this will never need a battery, this really is the perfect everyday watch - except for one thing that others have complained about. THE LUME IS LAME. It looks beautiful when it's charged (the hands have different appliques), but it fades so rapidly, it's really pointless to even have any lume on this watch at all. Great watch, but be aware of the “attributes.”
It earns the title of Pro Master Tough. It is a solid hunk of stainless without a back access, and that contributes to it’s toughness AND weight. The date window is a bad joke, and you may need to carry a reading glass. That said, it’s a great looking middle of the road styled timepiece. I like the size, styling and technical features. If you want a watch that will fit the bill as an every day watch, this may be it. If it was a bit lighter, and had a more readable date function, this would be my perfect watch. Great watch at a great price!
I was in the market for a stainless steel watch with a black face, I considered other brands but I could not stop coming back to this watch and compare it to the other watches I was looking at, and not to mention this one is only a fraction of the cost. A very sturdy watch, a bit on the heavy side but I prefer to feel the weight in my wrist. Very simple and sophisticated look, it’s shows like a luxury watch and performs like a tank. Only negative thing I can say about it is the date, a bit on the small side, but I was willing to forgo that for the great presentation this watch has. Awesome watch.
Great watch for the money, worth every penny of it. Through the years I've had many watches, some of them expensive Swiss brands and a few Seikos. This Citizen is just great, the monocoque solid factor makes for a sturdy feel on your wrist and slim at the same time, and the Eco Drive makes for fabulous accuracy. Amazing watch for the money!
I was looking for a good solid everyday work watch that had some style and utility. This Citizen reminded me of the Rolex MilGuass, ( classy but some might think spartan ) but of course it's Eco-Drive, treated to help withstand scratches, and costs a whole lot less.(1/20th the price, citizen specs show 15+ years on the gaskets and 80% battery capability available some 20 years down the road) I love the Duratect finish process ( the first time I've seen it on SS, usually on titanium), the 200m water resistance and best of all it's extremely easy to read dial. The bracelet is not quite up to the level of the watch head finish and build wise but it's loosing up and the more I wear it the more comfortable it becomes. It's Solid and it weighs like it but, on the wrist its very comfortable. 42mm but thin, I can't imagine it not fitting most wrists from 7" to 8"+ ( call Citizen and claim your 2 free extra links if you need to ) The AR coated sapphire crystal finishes off the features for me. It's a go anywhere, do anything time piece, you won't have to apologize for! Hard to beat for the $$$ If it holds up as well ( scratch resistance wise, I have 2 duratect watches that still look reasonably new 10 years on ) I can't see getting tired of this as my daily work and travel watch.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great watch at great price
Excellent watch, excellent value. Would recommend this watch to anyone looking for a "tough" watch that can take hard wear and activity. No need to spend thousands for a quality watch when you can spend a few hundred dollars and in my opinion get a better watch. Love the Citizen Eco-Drive movement. Quality and worry free watch.
This is a very high quality watch. Total weight of this watch is 175 g. The steel bracelet is a little bit heavy of 95 g. So I replaced it with a NATO band. The lume on this watch is pretty good. I often wear this watch to sleep. The watch is very easy to read in dark and lasting until morning light comes out. Like: low profile. Flat back case . Small date window. Triple level dial design.
