Successful treatment of rust
After sanding down my dry metal garden furniture and ornaments, applying Hammerite Smooth Black Direct To Rust Metal Paint was very simple and satisfying. I ensured that I had groundsheets in place to avoid staining from spillage but as it is a creamy constituency this is slight. Obviously, wearing gloves is advisable. The dry conditions during my days of painting added to the success of the venture and I can honestly say that my furniture looks like new with no visible signs of rust. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product.

You have to choose the right weather not too cold but when too sunny it drys too quickly! Why I wouldn’t recommend is because it’s something I don’t like to do.
