Refurbished? Who knew?
I never imagined being able to own a Dyson as their prices are completely out of my budget range. So I was excited to seize the opportunity to buy a refurbished model. I kept my fingers crossed that it wasn't too refurbished considering the price and I was highly delighted when it arrived less that a week later. I couldn't see a mark on it. It looked brand new and any misgivings I had disappeared as soon as I'd charged up the battery and cleaned a small section of carpet. Wow! This was incredibly efficient and much quieter than I expected.. Light to move around too which is fabulous for my bad back and knees. It's a top quality piece of kit and although I'm yet to "play" with all the other attachments, I'm sure I'll be equally satisfied. I can't comments on the pet side of this cleaner as I don't have one but I can't believe it doesn't clean up pet hairs equally well as everything else. Disappointed
I am in two minds as to whether to return this gadget. I haven’t but I’m disappointed! Good points - it’s light and very manoeuvrable and the different parts are very easy to change. The battery seems to last long enough. But it gets so easily blocked with carpet fluff and then I have to pick and prod to get it all out. If there is a tiny block it doesn’t pick up anything - just spits it out. So frustrating. I would say don’t buy even allowing for the good points. I wish too it had a light. I swore I’d never buy another Dyson before this. I saw a friends massively expensive one and was impressed. I wish I hadn’t been!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Amazing Dyson vacuum!
This is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It is lightweight and easy to use. I bought this vacuum for my daughter, but I have used it. I have a disability and have difficulty with corded Dyson's, but this cordless Dyson doesn't cause me any pain. It has amazing suction; the carpet looked clean, but I couldn't believe the stuff that come out of it on first use. It was slightly fiddly to empty at first, but now I know how to do it it's not a problem. The battery lasts long enough for my daughter to vacuum the whole of her flat. It is easy to charge and the docking station is easy to fit on the wall. This model of Dyson comes with a good variety of accessories. Dyson V7 cordless vacuum.
Very good suction on full power but only 10 minutes run time. Using normal power is ok and can get up to 30 minutes use. Higher power batteries are available. Time to clean up
I bought this to replace a V6 that failed after so many years use. The V7 feels stronger. Maybe because of use, the V6 was slack where parts clicked together. Not the V7. Wider brush head, longer battery runtime are improvements. I had to sand a wall back to the primary surface early in the year. I thought I had thoroughly cleaned up afterwards, even used a carpet cleaner. The V7 extracts resieedual dust from the carpet every time I use it. Not a lot, but plainly it is deep cleaning on the base setting. Filter system seems much improved and may have something to do with it. I love this Dyson
Makes vacuuming really quick as you can just grab it and get the job done in a few seconds without messing about finding a free plug and dealing with a retractable cord. It’s surprisingly light and easy to handle. Very easy to empty. There are lots of accessories for cleaning awkward spots. It’s very effective at getting rid of hair and pet fur. Very good vacuum cleaner
My only regret is not getting the V8 - I thought V7 was the latest and didn't do my research properly. The vacuum cleaner is fantastic, very strong, a bit weak on the battery side when in MAX mode but very powerful and handy. The wall mount is good but I wish there were room on it for all the attachments - as it is some of them have to be scattered around on the floor. The suction power for animal hair and dust is really good, but the big extension for carpets and whatnot doesn't do a very good job at clearing the hairs that get stuck to its rubber barrier, so you have to manually scrape that off and re-vacuum those. Hoover v7

Delivery - came the next day!! Product - it doesnt feel and look second hand at all, or that it needed repair! Looks brand new. I have very stubborn carpets and bought 2 hoovers before this and did nothing at all - total waste of money - a friend recommended this and it is such a dream to use. The dyson v7 was to replace an old dc44, decided to give the refurbished vacuum a go as it has a years guarantee and from dyson itself. It looks brand new, the suction is good especially when on max, so far so good, also hair has not been clogging the brush.
