More Power to your Elbow!
For years I've been struggling with a largely ineffective Henry. Why I didn't switch to an upright sooner, goodness knows! The Vax is superb in every respect with one exception. It has great suction which when combined with the rotating brush picks up even the most stubborn bits of fluff from the carpet. It levels to any surface, folds almost flat for getting under the bed/sideboard etc.,the handle adjusts for operatives of differing heights, the integral tools are easy to deploy and the bagless dirt store is clean and easy to empty. And the exception, the cord/flex. Whilst it's certainly long enough, the retaining brackets around which the cord is wound, are a very poor design feature by comparison to Henry's cord-store.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pretty Good but its predecessor was better
Very similar to the vacuum it replaced, which is why I bought it. The box was barely damaged and the vacuum was perfect inside. The main disappointment is that it simply isn't as good as the 6 or 7 year old Mach Air Reach that it replaces. It's heavier, less maneuverable, the brush head is taller so it doesn't fit under things, the cord is thinner and knots more easily and it has lost half of its "hammerhead shark" design that made it so good at getting into tight places. It's not bad, especially given the price of other similar products it works fine as a hoover just it is a noticeable step backwards in design from the version on sale 7 years ago!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great Machine
Previously had an upright dyson, which was rather heavy, this one is half the weight and very easy to use. It's a doddle to empty and easy to change the filters. The only bug bear I have with it is the cord hook, the cord doesn't stay in it! Because I'm really pleased with everything else I've overlooked that one glitch and haven't marked it down. Vax upright Hoover lightweight with great features .
very reliable great price fast delivery . Works very well on all the floors only thing i could find that might be a problem is the mains cable is thin and possibly a little too much of it but then has a plus side for reaching round all the property . The flexible hose on the hoover does have a tendency to pull the hoover over when doing the stairs so have to lift the hoover up a couple of steps to hoover the top of the stairs .
