I had a conversation with a roofer the other day who (said he) hadn’t come across the c cap product and was rather disparaging about it. This is a good product for keeping rainwater and wildlife out of disused chimneys. It requires careful assembly on the ground to ensure the springs are centralised and the insect screen is fitted correctly, but the installation is simple and effective.
