Not “Better than I Expected”
It’s not “Better than I expected” but that’s the only option given to purchases on the reviews now. It is a completely leading question and wholly inappropriate. Goddards is a well-established make, which I have used over many years, and this recent purchase does not disappoint. I expected it to be good quality, and it is. It is not better than I expected. I expected high quality, and it is high-quality. It is also reasonably priced and arrived quickly. A long standing product, now a bit out of reach financially.

Very easy to use
I have found this product quite difficult (if not impossible) to obtain from local hardware stores so was very pleased to be able to find it on ebay. I pour a small amount into an egg-cup specifically reserved for the purpose, put my silver jewellery into the liquid and return a very few minutes later to find that all the tarnish - even from perfume-covered necklaces - has disappeared. The jewellery just then needs a rinse under the tap and a rub over with a piece of kitchen towel and it's as sparkly and shiny as new. Fast cleaning action
I had this product years ago and finally needed to replace it. It cleans silver super quick with just a little dip. Make sure it's real silver not plated or a fake silver as it will discolour it. I had earring stored for so long they had turned black. With just a quick dip they returned to their former glory. Lasts so long. Brilliant value for money. The only thing I would like to see is a plastic tray with a stem on it, to get your jewellery if it drops in the jar (my old one had this but the size and shape of the jar has changed so I can't reuse it)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Can't find this in the shops
Polishing cloths and creams really do not do the job when you want yo clean jewellery chains. Simple and easy to dip into this product and leave for a few moments then dry off. I started using this silver dip many years ago and one jar has lasted me at least 10 years. It’s perfect for small items of silver jewellery and it’s the only one I want to use. Just dip the item, Wait a minute and it’s like new again. If the item’s too big for the jar just tip some into a bowl, place the item in the bowl for a minute and it will be done.
