I have the pure wave 7... I also have the Max from Brookstone as well Both are portable . Pure wave is lighter The Max really has way more power Pure wave is better on the scalp that's it. There are many other parts of your body The Max gets the whole body more efficiently Pure wave cost -125 The Max portable -229 If you can afford to invest money on on portable massager that performs get the Max... Pure Wave Extreme Massager
This is a pricey little massager with some good points. Although it is good-sized, it is easy for a woman of advanced years to handle. It seems to be quite good for soft tissue pains, things like muscles, ligaments, and tendons, and for these, it might well be worth the price. In fact, it actually seems to reduce the pain of moderate tendinitis. Over bony points, like the posterior iliac crest and the bones of the spinal column, it seems to cause or increase pain on the percussion setting. Bought due to major back surgery and it has exceeded my expectations. Have used it for a few weeks and it appears to be very well made. For those of you who are looking for something which is lite in weight this is not for you; this is heavy. While it may be used by ones own self it excels on the back if another person assists in that area. Although I have not used all the attachments they would suffice if a particular one was required. Poor Packaging
When you try so hard to surprise someone with a gift they have been raving about for a few months, only to have it delivered in a standard box with the company name on the side, it's kinda hard to Be excited about giving the gift when she was the one that took delivery of the box when it was delivered. She loved it, but I'm mad I didn't get the excitement part of giving her a present. I have wanted the cm7 for awhile now.I stay in alot of pain and I have every other massager you could think of.this does have the power behind it.but the battery dies very quick.on a full charge on high speed it has never lasted more than 20 minutes at a time and I believe it is suppose to be able to go 90 minutes so I am not sure if the battery is no good in this or if this truly how long it only lasts .it has a little weight so trying to do your own shoulders seems almost impossible .All in all it does what it's suppose to.
