Good but not up to todays standards for a company like Samsung
Its good, the sound could be a little richer, its slightly tinny. But more than that the interface between the 82" tc and the sound bar is odd, we had to use two HDMI cables to make this sound bar and woofer play at all. Its odd, because the TV has a special cable to handle bi directional communication and the interface you would think should know its connected to the samsung sound bar and just play the music from the TV. So I had to use up two HDMI ports on the sound bar to get it to work. If you were going to design it that way you might as well have just put in sound out on the back of the TV and then we could use a much smaller cable for sound going back to the sound bar, its bulkier and messier the way it was designed. I think the sound would probably be better with audio connections as well. The plastic covers dont firmly snap down and hold the wires but you could not see the wires anyway because its wall mounted, the wall mounting spacers did not come with the TV another oddity. Samsung is not impressing me with their arrangement with their own soundbar system that I thought would be fully integrated and neatly packaged. Also the bass unit has no real volume control, the difference between lowest and highest is only 6 levels, and 6 is not much bass. It also emits a lot of voice from the bass unit, wich is ok but only the voice bass, so its not exactly as good as samsung could have done.
