So comfortable.
My chair arrived today, so excited I couldn't wait for my husband to get home so myself heavily preggos and my little girl put it together. The wood is strong and solid, looks great small downside the right arm rest could not screw together. Luckily I have a power tool had to make the hole larger to fit the screw in. This part took me 2 hours to figure out but once it was all put together I was relieved. Lovely piece of furniture £20 less than the one at mothercare.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very comfortable once assembled

Not just for the new mother, or a mum-to-be.
My baby days are over, but my appreciation of an extremely comfortable, supportive chair isn't! My 'new' chair didn't come with a footstool, but despite this, it's already occupying the title of most fought over seat in the house. Two teenagers were hoisted out of it within the first hour, with my third teenager ending up claiming it for the rest of the night. I managed to get 10 minutes use while they got their old mum a cuppa (a girl has to pull the 'get me a cup of tea please' card every-so often!) I'm also delighted that the covers are washable, and the pocket in both arm rests are going to be so handy for glasses, remote, etc, when I finally lay claim to my new throne. Meanwhile, I might have to buy at least 3 more of these chairs for the sake of family peace. Highly recommended, for anyone that loves a comfortable chair! Solid and well constructed, with well filled, generous padding to seat cushions. This chair is a cream colour with pale varnished wood.
