Gentle on hair
I had purchased the original model that has a larger barrel and I liked it very much. I was hoping that John Frieda would come out with a narrower barrel. It has a gentle heat and helps straighten hair and adds volume to my thinning hair when I use the high heat setting. It's like having a brush and hair dryer all in one. I've never used it on completely wet hair however so I can't speak to it's drying ability. I have spritzed my hair with water and used it and I've been very happy with the results.
